Scary Statistics

So I was looking at statistics and I have to say these scare the crap out of me.

Miscarriage Probability

I get the 10% from weeks 3-6, and even the 5% from weeks 6-12. However, 3% in the 2nd trimester???? Is that accurate? That means 3 out of every 100 have a miscarriage or still birth in the 2nd trimester? 1% for stillbirth rates overall? How come it seems crazy to me that 1 out of 100 babies will be stillborn?

Sorry to be a Debbie downer... I'm devastated right now!!! I guess I'm hoping to hear that it's not true!

 

 

I didn't really read the website but apparently 1/5 women miscarry...
It's scary and I was always freaking out until week 8 (apparently is goes down then) and then week 12...

Don't forget that stats are SOOO complex to understand.
