2nd Pregnancy

I had an Ectopic Pregnancy last March 2011, and have my right tube removed.

This is my 2nd pregnancy. My LMP was 10-12-2011, my first ultrasound was on 11-20-2011, there is a gestational sac measuring 0.58 diameters, no yoke sac nor fetal pole seen yet. My OB said that i'm 6 weeks and 1 day pregnant based on my LMP. She advised me to have a 2nd scan for pregnancy viability after 2 weeks.

I'm bleeding for 5 days now. It was just a normal spotting from 1st to 2nd day of bleeding. I went to the hospital to check if the bleeding is normal or not, then my OB gave me Duvadilan and Duphaston. On the 3rd day I almost soak 2 panty liners. and went to my OB again, this time she requested me to do the 2nd scan right away. Ultrasound result has no progress except from the diameter of the gestational sac that measures 1.1 cm, still no yoke sac nor fetal pole seen. I haven't seen my OB yet because I just got the result of the scan.

Please help, what does it mean? Did I have a miscarriage? Is there any chance for a fetal development? I'm so worried about this

 

 

It doesn't sound like you had a miscarriage yet. I am not a doctor and it breaks my heart to hear this, but it does sound like the pregnancy may not be viable - MAY but not definitely. Though, my sister-in-law bled nearly cups of blood with two pregnancies and she was fine... turned out to have both babies health and happy. Similar thing happened to my sister, and she had her baby this past May.

It's just that at 8 weeks pregnant you should probably be able to see more Are you having any cramping? With a m/c you will probably have severe cramping. Sending positive vibes to you that everything works out and this ends up just being a big scare! *hug
